Alan Wakeling's Name Matrix Alan Wakeling's Name Matrix

You put cards numbered 1-25 in five rows on the table, and place a prediction card to one side.

One by one, cards are eliminated by your spectator until just five remain.

You ask your spectator to add up the remaining cards. Your prediction card matches the total!

But that's not the end.

You turn over the selected number cards, and it spells out your spectator's name!

  • Russel asks: Can you ask your spectator for their name and go straight into this, or do you need to know the name in advance and have this preset? For example, if I were working a wedding could you table hop using different guests names. Or does this fall into the category of “a trick for the bride”.

    • 1. Chris answers: You need to know the name in advance.

  • Chris asks: What are you getting exactly with this purchase? This routine is already in print in the Magic of Alan Wakeling. Is there some props being offered here?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Yeah you receive all props needed to perform this effect
  • David asks: Do you need to be good at math? I'm assuming your adding the numbers in your head and you need to know which ones to eliminate? Or different method? I'm not asking to tell me the method, basically asking if you need to be good at math. Thanks!

    • 1. Christian answers: I understood the method, and no, you do not need to be good at math.
