Perform relaxed miracles with R. Paul Wilson’s compendium of fantastic self-working and semi-automatic card effects. The routines within Killers* have been carefully developed over three decades- designed to completely baffle and entertain both laymen and magicians, with no difficult sleight of hand necessary.
Whether it be conjuring a thought of card, dealing any four-of-a-kind called for, or performing Sympathetic Aces without gaffs, Killers provides a series of in-depth one-to-one lessons revealing every detail, and the choreography to inspire the strongest reactions possible. Killers is a course in powerhouse card magic- a personal tuition on turning simple processes into unforgettable magic.
*Please note that although this collection contains four previously released tricks from Paul Wilson on this website, everything has been re-filmed, and in some cases, updated with new handling's. Performance footage seen in trailer is for promotional purposes only and not included as part of this project. You will be able to learn the routines entirely from the explanation videos.
The tricks are totally "killer" and excellent! There is something for everyone from beginners to pro. Most of them are self-working and easy to do.
Paul gives a very patient and detailed explanation with several subtleties that make for a very strong and surprising coincidence. Truly a trick with virtually no card skill required.
This is a must have for any card magician. Paul Wilson's tricks are so simple but pack a gigantic punch. My family is pretty jaded by card tricks at this point, but some of the tricks here completely blew them away. Luck vs Skill, C3 and Randell Flagg are true gems, but every trick here is great.
I have always been a fan of the Sympathetic Cards. After purchasing the Ontology Project, I have been working on the version from this excellent collection. However, after learning Paul Wilson’s Sympathetic Soup, I will use this version from now on. It is an amazing semiautomatic version that packs as big of a punch as all other versions I have seen and learned. I will probably add the goblet reveal as I have always liked the flair of that reveal. I give this trick and R. Paul Wilson’s entire “Killers” collection my highest recommendation.
I loved these tricks. Simple and almost self working. Helps you with just focusing on presentation
Killers, great videos, great tricks, easy to follow the video, enjoyable to watch, the video includes, demonstrations, and explanations, with lots of extra, very usefull tips, and some great card magic that's worth knowing.
Killers is the collection you need if you are looking for tricks that are easy, but also extremely powerful. The teaching is extremely precise : Paul teaches you every detail, and also pushes you to find out how you can make miracles with simple things, and how you can make the most of the presentation to make your effet look even more impressive. The only point that surprised me is that Paul doesn't perform the trick before, which sometimes makes it a bit more complicated for you to understand the procedure. However, this collection definitely worths the 30$. In addition to learning REALLY powerful and easy effects requiring no sleight of hand and involving the spectators, you will also learn a lot about the importance of the presentation and the way you can astonish people using simple things!
I can't tell you with more sincerity how pleased I was with these Collections. While the tricks were all fantastic, and the methods were all brilliant, my reactions are stronger because of the information on performance he tips into each effect. And don't be mislead, the term "semi-automatic" isn't just referring to your grandfather's card magic. There are some complicated effects and killer pays off. C3 is one of the best effects I've ever started performing and I do it at every chance I have. Its killer to have your spectators shuffle the deck, create chaos, and still all find the cards you want. Again, these aren't for the faint hearted. Some do require a bit of guts, while some are dead simple. The instructional style is also different than anything else I've seen before. Instead of a performance and explanation style Collection, Paul gives you just the explanations and your job is to figure out how you'll perform it. I would like to think this is the reasoning, although it was difficult to decipher in some cases, but don't get discouraged.
Fantastic effects! I've been working recently on my performance and presentational skills. It can be difficult, as I'm sure many of you know, to present a set skillfully while trying to hit all the right moves in a complicated routine. These effects are a great stepping stone to developing the confidence to properly present your tricks without having to worry about knuckle-busting sleights. This isn't to say that the only value in this product is as a stepping-stone. The effects certainly stand well on their own! This is just how I plan to incorporate them into my material.
I have previously learned some of the tricks offered here, but I still thought I should give Killers a shot. I definitely got my money's worth. In this collection, I found a beautifully crafted repertoire of mind blowing tricks that are really easy to learn. I have heard that tricks do not need to be hard and complicated to be impressive, and this collection is the proof. I am a big fan of Paul Wilson; I have seen almost everything he is in, including the Real Hustle. His teaching in Killers is clear and easy to follow. Overall, Killers is full repertoire of well taught, simple, and powerful effects.
It feels a bit rough to give this just a middling score, some of the tricks are very good and the price is very fair, and I don't have many complaints about the actual material. There's a lot of procedure for some of them but that's the nature of the material I think, and while some were a bit long or boring, there were also some I really liked. Based on the material, £20 for some great advice and a couple of tricks I might use is something I'm happy with at this point and would warrant 4 stars easily. The reason I knocked a star off is that none of the tricks have performance videos. For some projects it might not be a big deal, but this one in particular involves a lot of procedure and it can be hard to judge the tricks without seeing how they actually look, rather than going through the procedure yourself and hoping you got the gist. The other problem is that you can watch 10 minutes of a tutorial and still not know what the effect is that you're learning! This is a major bummer to me.So the material is good and well taught, but the format here with no videos is very frustrating so I took a star off.

Tom asks: The DVD "Killers" by Paul Wilson... does that come instant download? thanks! Tom Mason
Albert asks: I have never bought a download. What will I need to view this? Computer, TV.....?
Iain asks: Does this download include all the content that is on the DVDs of the same name? And does it have the performance video too or just the methods? thx
Danny asks: Wondering if this collection of 'Killers' is PART of R. Paul Wilson's Killers 2 DVD set? Or is this something different?
Danny asks: Your add says "Performance footage seen in trailer is for promotional purposes only and not included as part of this project". So, where is this footage from? Looks much more updated than the other release of C3.
