I should have bought the Truffle Shuffle 2.0 video instead.

I have no issue with the kind of teaching that is used here (pausing the video and displaying instruction text). It serves its purpose, even if it's not what you'd be expecting.

My issue is with the content of the video: the Heinous Shuffle and the Heinstein Shuffle in this collection end up serving mostly historical and progression purposes, as you're bound to adopt only the Truffle Shuffle.

After that is taught, nothing really stands out: the False Overhand sequence isn't better than the others out there, things like Lavand2, Equilateral Cut and Doublemint Cut end up being too flourishy for someone who is looking to fake a standard in-the-hands riffle shuffle, and I don't understand how the Charlier Shuffle made its way into this collection (pretty sure this thing is common knowledge by now).

By having bought Truffle Shuffle 2.0 instead, I would have gotten the part of this download that was really useful to me at a fraction of the price.

If I'd wanted to read how to do these moves, I would have bought a book. If I'd wanted a video without commentary, I would have turned the sound down. This download is extremely disappointing and I will think twice about others now. I'm certainly glad I only bought the first part, but wish I'd read the other review first.

Look, the first 3 shuffles on this video are quite good, but what is unforgivable is the teaching method. The entire video is one of those slow motion freeze frame, text based, no verbal instruction tutorials like youtube cardistry videos circa 2010. The same music runs through the whole video. Its insufferable.
