Vanishing Inc. Magic is proud to present the smooth, rhythmic magic of Yannick Chretien. From France, Yannick Chretien has a style that is at once radically visual but also laid back, chilled out. It's the kind of magic you would watch while enjoying a fine brandy—you just sit back and enjoy slowly. At Vanishing Inc. we try to be as upfront as possible, so we can tell you two things you will wonder about right after watching the trailer:
Does it use gaffs? No. Absolutely not. All normal cards.
Is this stuff difficult. Yes. Yes it is. But it's also very much worth the effort. We have really refined our teaching tutorials so they convey everything in crystal-clear steps from all helpful angles.
Yannick Chretien's first published work was his fabulous "Reflipped," which our own Joshua Jay published in the pages of MAGIC. But since that time, Yannick has kept a low profile. Now you can find out what he was up to, with three smooth-as-silk card pieces:
Hofzi: This take on Hofzinser's Ace Problem takes only seconds to perform, is the most visual version to date. Period.
Progressive: If you close your eyes and think about what an Ace Assembly SHOULD look like, this is it. It's not easy, but it's pure...so very pure.
Four: In this strange and wonderful sequence, cards are never where they are supposed to be, and there is an awesome surprise ending.
