The Effect
A card is selected by a spectator and hidden away. You then reach into your pocket and retrieve a state-of-the-art Lie Detector machine (aka the completely-custom, beautiful Bicycle gaff cards that comes with the trick).
A series of questions is then asked to your participant (is your card red or black? Is it a spot card or court card?). They can choose to tell the truth or lie.
Every answer is input into the "Lie Detector" (by placing one card from the top of the packet to the bottom for each letter of the random response). When the new top card is flipped, it reveals if it was a TRUTH or LIE. This process is repeated to correctly determine the identity of the chosen card.
This would be strong enough on its own, but it's not the end of the trick.
As a final mind-blowing surprise, you flip over the entire lie detector to show that all of the cards in the packet are actually duplicates of the chosen card.
