Dex Dex Dex Dex Dex Dex

Any named card at your fingertips at the speed of light. Endless possibilities with one powerful tool that fits in your pocket.

"Dex" by Lloyd Barnes and Javier Fuenmayor is the index to end all indexes. It is in a league of its own. This is the most powerful and, more importantly, most practical playing card index you'll ever find.

Many indexes will have one or two great features, but they will come at the expense of something else. For example, it's an easy way to get any card, but is super bulky. Or it's really quick, but separated into two pockets.

There is no compromise with "Dex." It offers all the most crucial features of a magician's index in one amazing tool.

"Dex" is a full 52-card index that allows you access any playing card lightning quick. It's also razor thin so you can easily fit it in any pants pocket, even those notoriously small skinny jean pockets. Designed to look like an ordinary minimalist wallet, you'll love the endless potential this offers as an EDC.

Here's the best part though. The core of "Dex" is the innovative system that greatly reduces the amount of tedious counting or searching you'd often find with similar tools. It's super easy to find the card, allowing you to focus on your performance instead of fumbling around in your pocket. It genuinely is almost instant. For perspective, it takes way less time than it took you just to read these few sentences on how it works.

"Dex" Overview

"Dex" is a project two years in the making. Lloyd Barnes and Javier Fuenmayor built it from the ground up, leaving no stone unturned. Everything from its durability to its flexibility and overall look was painstakingly crafted. Each "Dex" is meticulously assembled by hand.

  • 52 cards in a super thin, one-pocket index
  • Lightning fast
  • Innovative location system allows you to focus on presentation
  • Skinny jeans friendly
  • Lightweight, thin and flexible
  • Resets in seconds
  • Easy to learn
  • Gives you access to 100s (if not, 1,000s) of tricks from your pocket

All those possibilities will be explored in this section, including some magician foolers that will stun all your friends because they'll have no clue an index can be used like this.

Volume 4: Collaborations

Volume 5: Get The Most Out Of Dex
Genuinely 1,000s of hours went into creating, testing, refining, and working with "Dex". Spending that much time with a prop will make it as familiar as part of your body. As such, Lloyd and Javier have discovered some incredible practice techniques that will help trick your fingers into mastering "Dex" and pulling cards in the blink of an eye.

Some of the Tricks You'll Learn Include...

UVD
A single blank card is placed in their hands. They name any card. A UV light is shone on the blank card, revealing the named card written on it. (A natural companion for "Lux")

Invisible Dex
The Invisible Deck is undoubtedly one of the best card tricks ever created. Yet, since it was first popularized, many magicians have seeked out ways to do it without the gimmicked deck. "Dex" solves that problem with a truly amazing routine.

No Skill Needed
A freely named card is revealed in a freely named location. No palming necessary. This is so easy, a beginner could do it. Yet, it's also so powerful and clever that pros will love it. A true chef's kiss.

Jokers
A Joker is taken out of the deck and placed to the side. They then name any card and deal down cards. However, when they stop, it's not their card. It's a Joker. In fact, all the cards in the deck are Jokers. All except for the card that was removed earlier, which is impossibly their freely named card. Everything is completely examinable.

Invisible Brain Blizzard
This might be one of the most powerful card magic tricks you ever perform. With the deck in full view, a card is named. You then spread the deck to show it's the only face up card. Not only that, but it's the only odd-backed card in the whole deck. As if that wasn't enough, every other card in the deck is blank. No gimmicked decks or deck switches required. Just one easy and invisible move. Everything is left fully examinable. It's really hard to put into words how impossible this is.

Grab a copy of "Dex" now and understand what it feels like to perform card magic with no explanation. Truly impossible card magic that leaves them questioning their own reality.

"Dex" is available now in limited quantities.
