Fixed Fate is a predicted card at predicted number, a self-working miracle with no sleight of hand that allows a different card and different number each time with 100% accuracy!
The effect is as follows. You show your audience a folded piece of paper - your prediction. Placed in full view, you ask a spectator to keep an eye on it and make sure you don't touch it.
You then introduce a blue backed deck of cards, which are cut by both you and a spectator. You then ask another spectator for a number, for example between 5 and 20. They may say 12, at which point you count down the cards to the 12th card. You show this card, for example the ten of spades, and also show that if they'd chosen a higher or lower number the card would have been different, and show the different cards in the rest of the deck as well as ones already dealt down.
You then openly take back your prediction that has been on full view the entire time. You open it to reveal the text 'You will choose that number and deal to that card'. As your audience grumbles at the lacklustre revelation, you open the prediction more to reveal 'No really turn the card over'.
Now for the killer ending. Your spectator turns their ten of spades over and not only is it the only card with a red back, but written on the back of the card is the number 12 - the freely chosen number!
You'll be blowing away your audiences in no time. The number really is a free choice and your audience will be left in total disbelief.
