Revolution Revolution Revolution Revolution Revolution Revolution

Spinning a small item on the tip of your finger is a visceral display of skill, control and years of masterful discipline. But, who has time for all that?!

Revolution shortcuts the years of practice and allows you to look like a Shaolin Spin-Fu Master in just minutes. Gregory Wilson's new "Revolution" gimmick will allow you to spin any standard deck or standard playing card on the tip of your finger in a mesmerizing display of dexterity.

Part sportsmanlike skill and part unsportsmanlike gimmick, you'll have everything you need to get instant attention, including trick playing cards for tons of routines, expertly taught by Gregory Wilson. Greg will teach you how to spin your deck like a Globetrotter in no time.

Three Things you Need to Know about Revolution:

1. It really does look this good. There is no deception in the trailer. If you wish to make a deck of cards spin on your finger with superhuman agility, this will allow you to do so.

2. It is not entirely self-working. It's not terribly difficult, but we never want to mislead anyone. We found it took about an hour of practice to get this whipped into shape.

3. We like this because it's not always possible to add a new effect to your repertoire. But sometimes these little moments add so much to a performance, and this is one of those moments.

  • 90 minutes of video instruction from top pro, Gregory Wilson.
  • Specially designed and precision-engineered gimmick for weight, balance and spin time.
  • 3 special trick playing cards to turn Revolution into a full magic routine.
  • Easy to learn, easy to do, looks incredible.
  • No reset.
  • Can easily be added to any deck.
  • Makes a stunning ice-breaker.

Includes Gregory Wilson's "Revolution" gimmick, three specially printed playing cards and online instruction.

I loved this more than I thought I would. It took me longer to learn than Greg said it would, but when it eventually clicked. It's quite addictive to practice and something fun to do. If you want to spin a box of cards on your finger, the gimmick and training are what you need.

A few tips that helped me get better at this:

1. This is easier with a fresh box. As you practice, the box gets worn down in the area where your spin the box. The move is harder to do with a worn box.

2. Give it up for a few days, sleep on it, and come back to it. The break tend to help me learn it.

No real negatives is that you have to carry around this gimmick -- which fits in the box.

If you want to learn to spin a deck, this will do it.

I love this gimmick. A little tip is to make sure the card box is closed with the tabs fixed correctly into the flap to prevent the deck from shifting and throwing off the spin. This makes an excellent magic moment to enact a triumph or red black
Separation.

I love this utility. It is a little knacky, but once you get the hang of it then it works great. I love starting off a card routine by spinning the deck. Audiences appreciate the extra flair.

As with all of Gregory Wilson's affects that I am familiar with, this has great potential. The video is excellent and covers all the issues. The affect comes with a couple of gaffed cards that will come in handy. However, it is a challenge for me to get down. Spinning one card is relatively easy, but the entire deck I find challenging. Gregory takes someone who has never done it and shows him what he was doing wrong and he was able to get a deck to rotate. Greg states that it will take about a week for the typical person, which seems about right. I am looking forward to getting this affect under control.

So cool! Like the wizards a basketball, this will add a touch of professional showmanship to the finale of any card routine! I really like the single card spinning for so long! Most cardists can spin on their thumb for a few revolutions, but this is like watching movie special effects! It will take a while to get proficient, and much longer to become quick, smooth and confident. If you’re looking for something to add a special touch or to elevate your image, this is an interesting addition.

This might the best thing that has hit magic in the last 20 years! Skillful, magical, amazing! I feel like a ninja when I use it! Very well made and will last for ever!

You can do this with enough practice. It took me more time and practice than indicated in the training and advertising (more than one hour).

A few tips: change out boxes after practicing for a while as the more worn the box and hole from practice (and dropping) it makes it tougher. Boxes will get beaten up during practice.

Your finger will also get work down the first week or so.

If you want to be able to spin a card box on your finger, this'll do it for you.

This requires more skill than what I was led to believe from the marketing. Don't expect to get this working on the first try or even the first day. I'm estimating it might take me a month or more, depending on how many hours I have to practice.
