Fantastic! Great effect, easy to do, and very well explained. I thought I knew what he was doing but a couple of points bothered me. Turns out I was more or less right (the sleight is quite well known), but there are some important subtleties. The move used is very deceptive and also quite versatile and a number of other ideas are mentioned. All in all a very worthwhile purchase. I got it at Black Friday price but would say it's easily worth the full price if you missed out.

The switch is very disarming. It’s natural and it looks like what you’re really doing, just taking out four cards. And then your light years ahead. I’m a sucker for these multiple switches. This one is very easy but fooling. The small details make this work really well and you can do a lot more with this move if you wish.

This is a wonderful adaption of a piece of sleight of hand that makes it perfect for the strolling magician. A lovely routine. Makes for a great opener especially when working in settings without a table.

Simple to perform once mastered which won't take long as Giancarlo teaches it impecibly. Fun to learn and to perform.

Sorry to show off, but I got this as part of the Black Friday 99c Deal of the Day. It is worth the standard price, although, for the extra cost it is probably worth downloading the full Nuova Magia lecture which this routine is included in.

Very nice utility move. I would have liked some more explanation dealing with different alternatives. This is meant to be done from a shuffled deck in use, but depending on where certain cards are, you may run into issues. It would have been nice for him to cover those issues. Regardless, you're primarily learning the utility move and its very nice.

This is a steal for the 99 cents deal of the day. There is so many ways you can present this principle. I think I will either make this into a psychological presentation with a prediction or a gamblers cheating demonstration. It takes a little bit of practice but should be very easy for any card magician. The greatest part of this effect and principle is it can be done with a borrowed shuffled deck!!!
Imagine this…
You place a written prediction on the table before you even touch the cards.
A participant can examine the deck, shuffle, and cut.
You take the deck and remove four random cards.
You ask the participant to think of a number between 1-4.
You or the participant can mix up those four cards and count them in a row 1-4.
They can change their number and they can count from left to right or visa versa.
They say their number and take the card their number matches.
The participant opens the prediction to reveal “out of the four cards selected, the magician is thinking of THE FIVE!!!”
The participant turns over their card matching the prediction.
Now for the kicker…
The other cards now changes to all the matching 5’s.

There’s so many ways you can present this effect. As they say, it’s only limited by your imagination.

Amazing in application but also in structure. Perfect for when you have to put aside or look for multiple cards. I'll be practicing this for my prediction routine; with this download, I'll be able to openly remove my cards and have them change with the switch. Oh btw, the download is slightly less than 10 minutes.

Devious and looks fairly easy to do, especially for an old fumble fingers like myself. It seems like a LOT of magicians who fool Penn and Teller come from Spain and even with this fairly simple trick, I can see why. Thanks for the great deal and keep them coming!

What a clever use of this old technique! Using it to switch one card is so easy, but, as Mr Scalia notes, when switching several cards, the switched cards are flashed. He has cleverly explained how to obscure any flashed cards. There could be other problems with using the Kaps switch, and as Mr Scalia would explain how to deal with each of them, I would think, "Ah! But how about. . . ?" And then he would explain a solution. Don't pass up this video: It's first-class magic!

Very simple to preform, even with out much practice looks very smooth and will definitely get good reactions, although there is a possibility of a sharp eyed spectator busting you doing a move but still would work 9 times out of 10

I like this very much. Very simple slight that is easy to pull off for almost any level performer. I'm torn. I like the move, but not the actual routine....and sadly, the routine is why I purchased it.

But...the move is excellant, the teaching is clear, and the routine is actually very clever.

I will admit that I will be using the move. It's quick, clean, and such an offbeat idea.

It's pretty good, nice straight forward and fairly easy to perform as a little bit of byplay to break up a long routine. Also a good one if someone just asks you to show them something. Can be done with a borrowed deck.

I picked this up as individual download, and pretty happy I took a look. The effect is strong, quick, impromptu, and pretty easy. You can learn it on one watch-through of the tutorial, and I have to say I'm surprised I have not seen the core move here before. He goes over a couple quick ways you could use it for other effects, as well. VI had this on sale for black friday, probably to give this artist a little bit of exposure, and I'm thankful because it's really excellent.
