Stop It! Stop It! Stop It! Stop It! Stop It!

Adrian Vega knocks it out of the park with his latest hands-off miracle.

"Stop It!" allows you to give full control to your audience. Your participants do everything— including conducting the secret method. All you have to do is collect the applause. This is the self-working miracle you've been looking for.

Two predictions and a deck are placed on a table. You invite one person to cut about half the deck. Another person then picks up the remaining half.

Both of them start dealing simultaneously until one of them decides to stop. As soon as they do, the other person stops too. They then both look at their top cards.

Despite the fact that this is not a timing force, and they can genuinely stop wherever they want, their selections end up perfectly matching your predictions.

As an extra kicker, the deck is spread face up to show they've also managed to choose the only two printed cards in a fully blank deck of cards.

This easy-to-do stunner never fails to leave a lasting impression. They cut. They deal. They stop whenever they want. It works every time.

"Stop It" uses a specially-designed gimmicked deck that handles all the hard work for you. This super fooling and fun trick couldn't be any easier. Get yours today!

Customer reviews for Stop It!

I really enjoyed this startling and highly original effect. You give the deck to the spectators and they literally perform the trick themselves before you show the final revelation. Very nice.

Oh my goodness this is lovely. The effect is truly mind blowing. It looks absolutely impossible, especially because it looks so fair. The ad copy is right — you really don’t touch the cards throughout the entire effect! And the plot is so clear that there’s nothing messy or confusing as there sometimes are in card tricks. And if that’s all not enough, the instruction is fabulous. So clear; so thorough. One caveat: when he says not to do anything with the cards until you’ve watched the tutorial … don’t do anything with the cards until you’ve watched the tutorial!

This is my first purchase of an effect by Adrian Vega and I am not disappointed. The method behind this is clever and I sort of knew how it was done after watching the trailer and I wasn't wrong. There is a very small setup required when you get the product which would take less than 1 minute. The spectators do ALL the work for you so you can focus on your presentation

  • David asks: Can this effect be done for one person rather than two as in the trailer?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: It could be, if you are happy for one person to repeat the process you see in the trailer.
  • Mohammed asks: Is the deck examinable (at the end)? Or are the blank cards not examinable?

    • 1. Philipp answers: The ad copy reads: ""Stop It" uses a specially-designed gimmicked deck"

  • Mark asks: Is it the same outcome every time - same cards revealed?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: This can’t be repeated for the same spectator
  • Ajay asks: Is it the same 2 cards that are produced each time the trick is repeated? That is it repeatable when going to table in a close-up setting with different outcomes?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: This can’t be repeated for the same spectator
  • Stewart asks: Although it says the spectators do all the work, could I perform Stop It with my arthritic hands, limited by card manipulations?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Yes you could perform this with somebody else also
  • David asks: I hate R&S and I never end up doing tricks that use it. Does this use R&S. if not then I definitely want it.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Please email us at wizards@vanishingincmagic.com to discuss the method
  • Ray asks: I noticed he false shuffles at the start. Is the deck arranged in a certain pattern that has to be held?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: It is
  • Martin asks: Must the spectator's counts be perfectly synchronized without any mistakes? And can they set the rest of their cards down on the tabled discards, or is it absolutely necessary for each of them to deal down their remaining cards one by one?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Yes it needs to be performed exactly like the video
  • Bruce asks: In the video, the effect is that even the chosen cards are not in the deck, they are all blank. In the instructions, the effect is that ONLY the chosen cards are there. Which is it? Thanks!

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: It's as it appears in the trailer
  • Emmanuel asks: Hi, I would like the response to the R&S question. Is it a R&S deck ? Yet the trailer is incredible ...

    • 1. Brian answers: It is a special deck that's used for this effect Everything you need comes with the deck including the 40 minute tutorial The method is clever and that's all I'm going to say

  • Don asks: Even though I'm sure how this trick is accomplished, it looks absolutely killer. Especially to a lay audience. Just curious, what are the backs, standard Bicycle?

    • 1. Brian answers: Yes they're bicycle cards

  • Marlin asks: While the overall method seems obvious, I'm curious about the description (and some of the answers to questions here) indicating that all the cards dealt must be synchronized by both volunteers. At the beginning the first volunteer cuts the deck "NEAR the center", (which meaning often times it would not be PERFECTLY at the center), yet at the end BOTH volunteers end up laying down the exact number of cards. If it's truly necessary for each action (cards dealt) to be synchronized by both volunteers, does the trick still work if one volunteer runs out of cards before the other (and therefore would no longer be synchronized)?

    • 1. Brian answers: It must be performed as shown in the video and both spectators must be in sync with dealing. It is a cleverly used method and you wouldn't be disappointed if you bought it

  • Brian asks: This trick would be SO much better if the selected cards were the only two cards in the blank deck. Is this possible with this routine?

    • 1. Matt answers: That doesn't answer the question.
    • 2. Brian answers: If you don't like my answer to the question, that's not my problem. I'm not going to give away how it works by answering the question directly. Buy the effect yourself and find out just like other people have done. The whole idea of magic is NOT to reveal secrets/methods to people that don't want to buy it !!!!
    • 3. Brian answers: The two cards stopped at by the spectators match the predictions placed on the table beforehand
Post an answer to this question
  • Duane asks: 1. Must the performer be the one who spreads the deck face up? Or can a spectator spread the deck face up without risking his noticing the special nature of the deck? 2. Must there be the same number of cards in the two packets or may the cut be “near” center?

    • 1. Brian answers: It's a normal spread face up and the trick works best if done as shown in the trailer. The fact that one spectator has to copy the other exactly adds to the effect because they stopped at the same point in their decks and matched the predictions.

  • Ed asks: Does this trick use a stooge or an instant stooge?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: No, it's a gimmicked deck and it does all the work for you.
