Menny Lindenfeld is one of my favourite creators. His stuff is always good. What you see in the trailer is always what you can do in real life. Tornimation is no exception. It includes specially printed cards and two props for you to do the animation. To be honest, I am surprised to see two props, but it is always good to have a backup. The specially printed cards can be given out as souvenirs, which I really love. It would be great if they could sell refills for the specially printed cards, so I don’t need to buy the whole set again. I guess it’s ok if you don’t give out the card at the end all the time. You do need to do something to each card before you perform, but it’s quick and easy. There are certain things you need to do in the routine. Just practice well, and you will be ok. The restoration is different from what I have seen before. I think this is more magical. Oh, there is one thing. You need to make sure there is no one behind you. The animation is good if you do it right. In my opinion, it is still magical to perform without it. Overall, the routine is simple to perform.

I really really like this because what you are giving out is a truly impossible object. And the best part is that the card is signed and they visually see the piece restore and animate. Menny goes into great detail in the teaching. You also get a whole deck worth of tornimation cards to give out.

Without exaggeration I have bought 6 of these. And I'm a hobbyist. I'm pretty sure they're not going to make them again and I want to make sure I have this trick until the end of time. It really is that good. I'm not going to lie it takes some practice to get the handling down. Once you do though and have the guts to try this live people's reactions are totally worth the effort. The fact that you rip the chosen card up in front of them and then have them sign it only to have the peice magically float across and then fuse to the middle of the card. People are so confused LOL the switch that they teach is great but there's lots of other ways that are easy to come up with. I'm the kind of guy that over practices and doesn't perform things until I have it down. Some people have complained that the quicker version where you don't make the card slide across is better but I totally disagree. They are both good routines on their own but the one using the gimmick is the one you want to practice . This one's worth it and the impossible object at the end just looks so cool. Now that it's on sale it's an absolute steal . The only thing I would say is that the gimmicks are fragile and they will break. I would buy two right off the bat . It's worth it just for the giveaway cards but this way you won't have to worry about breaking one of the gimmicks when you're practicing which you definitely will each package comes with two and once you get used to the handling they will last for a while I would think 100 performances or more each . I would say each gimmick is good for approximately 50 performances maximum before you understand how not to break it. There's no threads or anything like that . Be gentle that's all I can say. the way that it's packaged is awesome . highly recommend this.

Tornination, its brilliant, this comes in a good quality presentation box, comes with everything you need, from a download video link, which is inside the box, a full deck of gimicks in a tuc box, that if you want you can use these as the give aways and signed, which is optional, your choice, plus you get the main gimmick that you will use each time you do this trick, plus a spare one of these gimmicks too, he teaches two different methods, one is how to do the signed card version, and the other is without doing the signed version. The video is easy to follow, with all the camera angles covered, from the spectators view, to the magicians view, Minney is also a great teacher too, he is in my top two magicians on my list, you can see that he is very passionate in the magic that he produces, including great video explanations, and tutorials too. This is very clever gimmick, and in the way he worked out these moves, to create another great peice of magic.

    • 1. SGKYDUYEN answers: In my opinion, the difficulty level is 6.5/10
    • 2. Garry answers: Minney explains this in great detail, and its easy to follow his method off teaching. i would say its getting this to flow naturally is were the practice is needed, preferably to practice this in front of a mirror, which he also suggests this too, you can pick these three way mirrors up from magic shops.
