Paramiracles from the late Ted Lesley is one of my favorite magic books! Not only was Mr. Lesley a creative thinker, but he also exudes a contagious love for magic and mentalism from every page of this masterwork.

In it he covers everything: cards (some *very* deceptive work here), switch pads, clever ways to hide cribs in plain sight, psychokinetic effects with spoons and wine glasses, as well as powerful essays about how to make your presentation and business skills better. Of particular interest to me is his teleport envelope, which allows you to invisibly switch one item out for another. As if that weren't enough, there are many clever routines provided using this amazing utility item which are highly entertaining and extremely practical.

If I had to emphasize one thing, it's that Mr. Lesley's work is practical. Nothing in here is a pipe dream, even if it requires more work than you may be willing to put in for one effect (I'm looking at you, bending wine glass). It would be impossible to read this book and not come away with half a dozen ideas to make your existing routines better or with a smile on your face knowing that your love for magic has been rekindled.

Highly recommended! At this price, it's a bargain for someone's life work, especially when you consider many other high-priced alternatives who have significantly less real-world experience. Get it now before it's completely out of print!
