Phil Knoxville brings you the ultimate geeky and gross-out effect, Signed Card in Nose.

This is SCIN.

A card is selected from the deck, signed and returned. You lose the card in the deck and ask your volunteer to visualize their card, you then ask them to push card into your head. You take a pair of tweezers and begin to pull the card out of your nose. Simple. Brilliant. Original and just a little twisted. It looks like real magic because it is real.

Phil Knoxville reveals his methods to achieve this devious and shocking effect, with both a Geek Method (Phil's preferred presentation) and a method that uses only sleight-of-hand, all taught in detail on the DVD. The DVD also comes with sample gimmicks and instructions on how to make your own refills.

This is (SC)INSANE. Phil has breathed new life into a classic geek effect here, creating a piece of disturbing and hilarious magical theatre. I can't wait to try this out myself!Dee Christopher

WARNING: THIS EFFECT SHOULD NOT BE SOLD TO OR PERFORMED BY ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18. THIS DVD IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY.

As someone who loves Geek Magic, I was really excited when I came across SCIN. If you can already do blockhead then you can be doing this trick in no time & if you can’t there’s other options for you that are taught aswell. A great idea if you do walkaround/close up & want something a little different in your set or for a Halloween set.

I'm a big geek for geek magic and this effect has been a home run every time. Not sure it's for beginners but if you're into the geek lane this is for you.

Official review from Genii Magazine

From the April 2016 Genii magazine. Reviewed by David Regal

This is billed as 'the ultimate geek effect" and I consider that Truth in Advertising. Basically, a card is selected then discovered rolled up in a tube, inside the magician’s nose. I mean it—it’s in there. You need tweezers to get it out. A sleight of hand version is included, where you just pretend it’s up your nose, but what difference does that really make to an audience? The effect is the same: a freaking card was up your nose. A specially adjusted card is included, but it’s not really what I’d call a “gimmick,” insofar as you need to shove the thing up your nose. The method, which some may find uniquely difficult, is nevertheless perfectly practical, and I am certain that no one who has seen this performed will ever forget it.

Considerations: This might not be the best way to make friends and influence people.
