I really like these coins. I have purchased some of the other Chinese coins and, though their quality is good, I have different issues with being able to use them within a professional performance. I would rather have a coin that looks like a coin. These do. They are not highly polished as the picture shows; however, that is a good thing. The raised lettering is highly raised. The images on both sides are similar; so if you are doing a switch one coin for another it is harder to tell if by chance one coin is not on the same side. Taking a coin off of a string or ribbon is easier to do with these without making a rubbing sound against the ribbon due to the way the hole is.
