Magic download (video) by Yu Huihang (7.96 - normally $9.95)

Invite the audience into your world with “Backview 3 Fly”. Talented Singaporean Magician Yu Huihang has flipped the script on “3 Fly” by allowing the spectator to watch over your shoulder. The coolest part is that you get to have an audience view on your own magic trick!

“Backview 3 Fly” works well on its own or as part of a larger routine. While it’s clearly a great video magic trick for social media, the angles are also very manageable allowing you to perform this in-person as well. It’s well within the range of any intermediate coin magician.

It’s also important to note that “Backview 3 Fly” is just a ton of fun. You’ll love practicing and performing this one. No gimmicks needed.

Available as an individual download, or you can save 70% by grabbing “Backview 3 Fly” as part of the “Yu Huihang Download Bundle.*

This video is really beautiful to watch, and I imagine it’s really fun to do. I’m not too dexterous, I’m afraid, and I think the amount of work I’d have to do isn’t in the cards (coins?) for me. I’m don’t really work with coins enough to justify the effort. If you do, though, then absolutely get this. You will want it in your repertoire!

Backview Three Fly is Absolutely Incredible. The magician teaching has great manual dexterity at my age I could not see manipulating a coin around in my hands like he does. I find it fascinating if there are no gimmicks in this routine. Bravo Great job

Coin magic has always been one of my unicorns. Sure, gimmicked coins make it easy, but, I've always had a desire to become much more skilled with ungimmicked coins. I would have never purchased this if it weren't for the Black Friday Sale, for fear of it being outside of my skillset. However, now that I've reviewed the tutorial and walked through the handling 3 times, I can honestly say this is FAR easier than I ever anticipated! And it LOOKS amazing! If you have just a little experience in handling coins, this should be well within your grasp! Get it!

Yu Huihang has a very interesting, sideways (backwards, really) take on three fly. This is a good adjunctive routine to do after you do a three fly, as you can offer the 'magician's perspective' on three fly as your audience watches you over the shoulder. Strangely, it is far less complicated, easier to learn, but no less amazing than your run-of-the-mill three fly.

The routine uses only ungaffed coins, which is a major plus. I have to say that the demo was so fluid I was sure he was using a shell--not so. The effect relies on sleights that you already know, although you will be using them in different ways than you have previously as you need to cover from the opposite side that you are used to. One thing, though, that makes this easier to practice than a regular coin routine is that what you see is exactly what the audience would see--no practice mirror needed!

The teaching is 100% clear and effective. It would have been nice to add a slow motion run through for the full routine, although this is less necessary as you can go through Yu Huihang's run through and slow down the video using the speed control feature. It would also have been beneficial to have a live demo so you could see how an audience might react to the effect.

The angles are not 180 degrees, so you will need your spectators to be behind you. It would definitely work with a small group behind you and probably would be okay if you did it at a longer distance from the audience so long as they were mostly behind you.

I see this, though, as cool thing you might do if you are showing three fly to a few people and you want to give them an over the shoulder view. Of course, this is not something you would do, for example, if you were table hopping, unless you can face a wall, as you over-the-shoulder observers will see a pristine three fly and other surrounding guests who have a head on view and get a full tutorial on how it is done.

In spite of any performance limitations, this is an amazingly well thought out routine that is not difficult and can be used to 'prove' the 'honesty' of a three fly effect. Assuming you are in the right conditions, this would be a great effect to pull out to further blow some minds. Recommended.

As a small appetizer from the Yu Huihang Bundle it is quite good. It falls a little short in terms of instructions and indications and forces you to stop the video to understand the exact movement in each disappearance and appearance. If you are not an expert coin magician, you are going to have a hard time following Huihang and trying to replicate him. As a coin magic routine it is fine and original as long as you are sure that you are in the right conditions (very careful with the angles!!). If remote magic is your thing, such as on social networks, with a little practice you will succeed with this.
