With his endearing, charming style, Nate Leipzig captivated every audience he performed for. He was one of the gentlemen of magic and Dai Vernon's Tribute to Nate Leipzig by Lewis Ganson is a wonderful homage to this legend of magic.

Sharing both fascinating biographical detail and carefully described magic secrets, this incredible magic book has it's own special place in the world of magical literature.

Many of Leipzig's most famous tricks from close up magic like "Penny Out of a Glass of Beer" to stage and parlor magic tricks like "Cabaret Card Stab" are described in precise detail by Lewis Ganson who originally learned the material from the one and only Dai Vernon. This version of Dai Vernon's Tribute to Nate Leipzig also offers an additional biographical chapter by David Goodsell.

This more than 200-page book is a thing of beauty in its own right. Printed on the finest paper and beautifully bound in cloth with a four-color dust jacket, this book is a true treat for the most discerning magical enthusiast.

Customer reviews for Dai Vernon's Tribute to Nate Leipzig

It took me a while to get into the book. The book is of great historical value as it gave me insight into the origins of certain plots which yoh will find in almany other more modern books. If you are a magic enthusiast and nerd this is a great book to read, practically many of the routines have more modern methods but that said I enjoyed reading the book.
