Dynamic Sharpie Dynamic Sharpie Dynamic Sharpie Dynamic Sharpie

The sensational, innovative magic technology that took Magic LIVE and Blackpool by storm is now available at Vanishing Inc.!

“Dynamic Sharpie” by UltraMANTIC is the easiest way to showcase superhuman telekinesis skills or conduct one-of-a-kind mind reading revelations anywhere you go. You can command this orindary-looking Sharpie pen to pen to roll back and forth with your "mind" before freely-stopping wherever (or whenever) you want.

Designers Haifeng Qu & Longfei Hu spent countless nights working out a way to integrate this remarkable technology into the narrow barrel of a pen that looks and feels like a regular Sharpie (and writes like one too).

This highly-integrated intersection of art and technology is destined to quickly become your new favorite magic and mentalism secret weapon.

Limitless Possibilities

There are no limits to the amount of close up magic and mentalism effects possible with this groundbreaking tool. The pen is always fully under your control, allowing you to roll it forward or backward into any position. You can even cover it with a glass or stand at a distance that completely eliminates the potential of using threads or wires.

Multi-Surface Capability

“Dynamic Sharpie” works reliably on a variety of surfaces from glass and wood, to metal, paper, plastic or pretty much any smooth surface. You can even perform bizarre effects on curved surfaces like making the pen move while it’s upright inside a cup.

All-day Battery Life & Magnetic Switch

The included magnetic pen clip not only holds the pen in place, but automatically turns it on and off each time it is removed and replaced. Paired with an incredible standby time of 24 hours, and a convenient battery sensor, you can perform with confidence every time.

EnchantKey

One of the most amazing aspects of “Dynamic Sharpie” is the revolutionary “EnchantKey” remote. This brand-new, fingertip remote control fits perfectly in your hands. It’s ergonomic design and dual-button operation allow you to easily and discreetly operate the Sharpie from up to 4 meters (13 feet) away.

Extra Magic in the Pen Tip

Not only does the “Dynamic Sharpie” actually write, but a magnet has also been carefully hidden in the tip. This allows you amplify its potential by pairing it with other powerful tools like “Parapad”.

Wireless Charging

The sleek wireless charging base capitalizes on cutting-edge technology for the best charging experience. It’s convenient, easy to use, and also just looks awesome!

Customer reviews for Dynamic Sharpie

Okay, there is a problem you can't give a rating higher than Excellent for this trick, and just a shame. Because it is! I rarely buy anything this $$$$ Kaaching pricey but I saw something else in it beyond mentalism for me and when my lovely wife said hey you like that much make it your anniversary prezzy well SNAP! Instructions are so simple seriously right, left that's about it. I don't see a novice magician buying this so the rest of us already have in mind what to do with this thing long before it ever comes to the door. Built well and made seriously can't tell the difference between a normal Sharpie and this. If there is a complaint I just can not find where one of the little squid dealers is to get the ink needed for the tips. Personally doesn't bother me I do so many switches for other tricks in and out of the pocket for other things what is one more? Get it you won't be disappointed.

Exudes quality, from opening the box to the products included. Sharpie looks and feels just like an ordinary everyday sharpie. On/Off magnetic clip works well and pen vibrates between 4 to 1 times to indicate battery level. Charging unit uses induction, no need for connectors on the sharpie, automatically stops charge (2 hours for a full charge for a fully discharged battery).
Remote control doesn’t need charging as it uses a coin battery with a spare battery included. Functions very well and good tutorials make this a great magical experience.

I really wanted this to be awesome. I had ideas on how to use this.

Overall, I think the tech here is pretty impressive, but it's just not ready for the mainstream yet.

As another reviewer (also named Ben) noted, the instructions are so bad. The videos are not good.

What I would ask for non-english speakers is to create written instructions on top of your video instructions. At the very least, these can be translated automatically, but even better, they can be proof read by native speakers of different languages.

Anyways, I'm not really sure if I am charging it correctly, it's basically impossible to tell. I also already broke the pen cap thingy to try and make it "fit" better.

It also cannot be done in silence. You will need some background noise. A bar or something like that would be great. Street noise is enough as well, but if you want to try a dramatic presentation where everyone is silent (which is sort of what I envisioned) this is not going to work.

Another problem is I had assumed it would roll in either direction at my command. My unit doesn't really do this. It rolls one direction pretty well, but once it stops and you try to make it roll the other way, it doesn't work. They sort of "address" this in a video but their suggestions don't work.

The controller is also just not built very well and the buttons aren't tactile enough, nor is it very comfortable in my hand. I would have preferred just a simple controller I can put in my pocket in all honesty.

Last, I still have no idea how this would work as an actual Sharpie. Anyone who has held a Sharpie would know it isn't a real Sharpie.

I'm just not sure what this gets you over less technical approaches besides being out $300 bucks.

I love the idea behind this and want to believe that Vanishing Inc will back me up on this. The instructions are poor at best. They say sharpie will charge up to 100 percent in two hours. Ok what if I leave it longer? Not covered. How do I know it’s fully charged? Will the light turn off or turn a different color when it’s 100 percent? Not covered. Why can’t I get it to turn on or off with magnetic clip? This is covered in an additional video sent to me after I emailed you guys that mine will not turn on or off like it says in the original tutorial. The second video does not clearly explain much either other then you should just keep spinning it around until you feel a vibration. Ok I got a vibration. But is it on or off? The problem I have with products like this is the instructions should be watched by you guys at Vanishing Inc. You should seriously ask yourselves is this good enough and clear enough? Would I be happy if I bought this gimmick for $300 dollars? You know the answer is a hard no. All I’m asking is that if the tutorial from the creators is not good enough and clear enough just tell them. Hey guys your video tutorial is not very clear. We will make one that is clear and go over all the things you guys missed so that the magicians who buy this product don’t feel like they were completely scammed. Please stop rushing these projects out before making sure the tutorial has all the information and clearly presented. It’s just not fair to guys like me who support magic and it’s creators but in the end always feel like I have been tricked myself.

  • Timothy asks: What happens when the pen doesn’t write anymore? Is there an easy replacement? Thanks

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: You can refill the nib with ink.
  • Leonard asks: Is it noticeably heavier than a regular sharpie if a client picks it up or this shouldn't be handled by the spectator?

    • 1. Longfei answers: You can confidently let the audience handle it. In fact, you’ll be surprised at how light it is when you hold it. This demonstration video shows its weight in detail—it’s only 2-3g heavier than a standard Sharpie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iR8LjFlf3K8

  • Bruce asks: Is the Sharpie the exact same size as your standard Sharpie? From the pictures it looks larger.

    • 1. Longfei answers: It's exactly the same size because it’s made using the shell of a standard Sharpie. You can see a more detailed introduction in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iR8LjFlf3K8

  • James asks: I love my Dynamic just can not see how to add the ink do I need to make a deal with a tiny squid? Other than that I'm good, off to write my review this thing is AWESOME!

    • 1. Longfei answers: Glad to see you like it. Stéphane Lacroix has made a pen cap that can be filled with ink, and you can probably reach him on Facebook.
    • 2. Longfei answers: By the way, we've made new tutorial and demo videos, which you can view through the link provided on the introduction card inside the package. You might just need to check out the six effects we demonstrated in the video, though I'm sure there are even more possibilities. I can tell you have a lot of experience. As for the ink, any marker or whiteboard pen ink will work if you just want to refill it. However, I personally prefer to simply switch it .
