Steve Cook’s take on Larry Becker’s original Psycho II effect is a super clever routine that retains Becker's diabolical original principle, while also adding more than 15 devious new ideas.
Five ESP cards (circle, cross, wavy lines, square, and star) and some envelopes are introduced. With your back turned, a participant selects an ESP card. This card is reversed in the packet and isolated in an opaque envelope, which the participant confirms can't be seen through. As an added layer of impossibility, this envelope is then isolated in a second envelope, which goes inside a third envelope.
Despite these impossible conditions, you're still able to divine what symbol they chose.
No gimmicks. No forces. No switches. No stooges. No sleight of hand.
This self-contained miracle is easy to do and everything is examinable. Nothing is added or taken away. You can even instantly repeat it with a different outcome.
