A stylish clip to allow you to use the 'Out to Lunch' principle in a way that feels and looks refined and elegant.

History: The "Out to Lunch" principle comes from the 1800s, and was originally applied to slates by spirit mediums. Often attributed to Bagshawe, it was actually William Larsen Sr. who first published a magic version with paper cards. His effect, "Finger Prints" can be found in the July 1923 issue of "The Jinx." Our literature is now littered with effects based on the simple principle of a half card covering a whole card in a stack.

It is a question of style.

"Out to Dinner" is a specially designed clip for your business cards that is functional as well as fashionable. It is an elegant accessory that makes the "Out to Lunch" principle work like a charm and won't diminish your image as a class performer.

Along with his custom made "Out to Dinner" clip, Doc Eason is releasing one of his favorite routines, and several other cutting edge ideas for its use.

Clip Length Approximately 2" (5cm) (50mm) - NOTE this length corresponds to the WIDTH that your business card needs to be!

No more rubber bands! Winner in my book. Doc’s stuff is always amazing because you know he’s honed his routines over hundreds, née, thousands of performances.

As the description says this is an elegant and stylish clip that is perfect for the OTL principle. For a more formal venue this make a better visual presentation. I own one now, but plan to get a second for use in effects that employ two stacks (or for a switch).

Very pleased with this accessory!

There is nothing stylish about a simple metal clip. It is spring steel and extremely hard to open to insert cards. Anything more than few cards makes it so tight you can't get a card out without a struggle. The top part of the clip that hides the half card doesn't extend all the way across exposing the edge of the gimmick so you need to use it upside down but then maybe that's how you are supposed to do it. I don't know but I think it's overpriced.
