Many years ago, Rocco came up with a special coin magic gimmick that can be used to display four US quarters before instantly changing it to three quarters, then two, and finally one quarter. It is then shown in reverse, with one quarter expanding to four quarters. As the displays can be done one-handed, "Countdown Coins" allows for a very clean in-the-hands coins across. This original routine (which is taught on the tutorial) is the one Rocco used to fool Dai Vernon.
