Printed on legendary Bicycle stock by the United States Playing Card Company, Grimoire Bicycle Playing Cards feature 12 fully-customized skeletal court cards, 2 themed Jokers, reimagined faces and two unique double-backers (Grimoire/Grimoire + Grimoire/Mandolin).
Just like all Bicycle cards, these cards are excellent for performing your routines, but the artwork here tends to lend itself to the genre of, "Dark and Creepy". The face cards are all unique, skeletal in nature, and the art yeilds a few interesting surprises. The way the Jokers are printed also allows for making some interesting changes. The fact they come with two, different double back cards is really neat. These cards are very cool, and the price won't break you. If you're looking for a sinister, yet, affordable deck of cards, like a necromancer on a tight budget, this is definitely one of those decks.
Nothing special for this Grimoire deck and definitely not the quality I've come to expect from Bicycle. I ordered mostly for the art (apart from the brand) which is grainy, pixelated almost, and quite unimpressive. No art for the Ace(s), really? I'm glad I found such a great price here on Vanishing and didn't overpay elsewhere. I don't recommend this deck.
