In Ancient Chinese history, long before the empires that lead to the development of modern-day China were built, there stood a vast grouping of civilizations around the Yellow River Valley known as Middle Kingdom. These breathtaking, 100% original playing cards pay tribute to those civilizations and China’s vast history.
Each of the court cards has been meticulously reimagined with jaw-droppingly intricate illustrations of illustrious Chinese gods and figures. These pair perfectly with the completely custom suits that have been inspired by legendary creatures from Chinese Mythology such as the Kui (Clubs) to the Phoenix (Hearts). On the backs of each card, you’ll also find a dazzling design that was completely drawn by hand and incorporates iconic Chinese elements such as lattice borders and dragons.
Middle Kingdom Playing Cards are printed on quality paper by the United States Playing Card Company and are a lovely deck that any playing card collector or magician would be proud to own.
