After a nearly decade-long sabbatical, membership to The Master Theorem is open once again.

Founded in 2011, The Master Theorem is a secret society of puzzle lovers and code breakers led by a cryptic wunderkind known simply as “M”. Every week, “M'' would satiate their puzzling pursuits with a delightfully witty and deceptively challenging new puzzle, garnering this larger-than-life figure a cult-like following before his mysterious and sudden disappearance.

Nobody heard from “M” for over 8 years until, one day, the mysterious puzzle-maker suddenly re-emerged to introduce the world to the absolutely stunning “Master Theorem Book of Puzzles.” If you’re looking for a book of easy puzzles, simple logic problems or standard crossword puzzles or Sudoku puzzles, you may want to search elsewhere. Across these more than 200 pages, you’ll find more than 40+ mind-twisting puzzles (or “theorems”) that force you to think in creative ways you never thought possible.

As you work through each “escape room” style mystery, you’ll need to decrypt secret messages, uncover hidden codes, tackle sneaky brain teasers and so much more. You’ll experience firsthand the many ways puzzles can help train your brain to improve memory and bolster your logic & reasoning skills. By the time you’re done, you’ll be well on your way to being an expert code breaker or master decipherer. Some believe you may even uncover the mysteries of the universe. But, we think you’ll just have to see for yourself.

Each captivating mystery is accompanied by intricate symbols and elaborate drawings and photos that will guide you toward the solution. There are also coded hints in each theorem that are there to help if you need them, but don’t stand out (so you don’t have to worry about accidental peeking). Of course, if you get stuck, the solutions are in the back. This is the perfect coffee table book or gift for the puzzle lover in your life.

I wasn't a big puzzle person, but I decided to give this a try. Now i'm hooked! I'll definitely be grabbing the elite edition. This book does a good job of helping you get started and isn't overwhelming.

A puzzle lover's dream! I had so much fun with this that I bought my wife one and we had a little competition to see who could solve each one faster. It's easy to binge, but we prefer to take our time. We sit down and do one or two a week.

Hours of fun! I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised at how fun these puzzles are to solve. There is so much variety. Some are easy, some make you want to pull your hair out. But all of them are fun!

I have already made it past the first puzzle (which is extra simple) and plan to work on one puzzle at a time before moving on. The book looks and feels great and, though it says to mark all over the pages, I have a feeling I won't do that. I look forward to seeing the different levels of difficulties.

To be clear, the puzzles in this book are Excellent - five star all the way. But I had to reduce my rating because of the quality of the book itself. It looks great, full color printing, etc. But the binding is terrible.

This is one of those books where if you aren't extremely careful not to open the book more than part way the pages fall out. And given that this is a puzzle book where you will be spending a lot of time on each page, and the author even encourages writing in the book, it is inevitable that you are going to pop the binding and have pages fall out.

I really do love the concept of this book and I think the puzzles are great. It pains me to give a mediocre rating. If they would just fix the binding it would be five star all the way. If you like good puzzles and can deal with a sloppy book, I would still highly recommend it.
