Mems From My Note Book is a short but notable section in which Oswald Rae doesn’t explain any magic effects but gives rather important advice on a variety of topics magicians may find of use and contains instruction on rendering fabric fireproof, applying sealing wax evenly, cleaning velvet or plush, and many other rarely discussed topics.
