I like it okay. It's refreshing to see an imp pad that doesn't require a special marker or pen. The "technology" behind this is very simple. It will not last forever but once the secret is revealed you can find the appropriate material to repair or even set up a completely different pad on your own. The pad looks great. I give it three stars for two reasons. The pad is a bit clumsy to operate. The spiral binding doesn't allow for smooth opening and closing so I find myself fumbling with the thing. Also the impression is dark on a dark back round. Without adequate lighting you will struggle to find the impression. The pad can be sensitive to any pressure so a heavy handed spectator can sometimes smudge the impression. Other than that it's great to be able to just grab any writing implement that's lying around. Not my number one but it gets the job done

    • 1. Jim answers: This is a bit more practical, in my opinion. You can use any writing tool with Cogni.

  • John asks: Hi, is this a proper impression device where they can tear the page out before you get the peek? It doesn’t really make it clear how this plays out. Cheers.

    • 1. Jim answers: Yes, it is.

  • Brian asks: How does this compare to the Informer Pad? Besides the obvious that any writing tool can be used. Thanks.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: There are no magnets involved with this pad and it won't wear out over time.
  • John asks: Is the impression just as clear when you use a marker? And can this be used for handwriting and Q&A, or only a few numbers or drawings? Thank you!

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: The impression is very clear with a marker but it probably wouldn't be good for Q&A routines. It's perfect for numbers, names and drawings.
