Celebrate the iconic Steve Cohen and more than twenty years of his critically-acclaimed NYC residency show "Chamber Magic" with this gorgeous new book!

Known for mystifying and entertaining society's elite, Steve Cohen has garnered numerous accolades and is known throughout the community as "The Millionaires' Magician."

Since 2000, Cohen has entertained hundreds of thousands of people with his sensational Off-Broadway show "Chamber Magic". Billionaires, movie stars, Nobel Prize-winners, elite athletes, and heads of state have sat alongside ordinary folks, all of them tied together by the shared hope that magic might truly exist.

Taking place in the exclusive salon settings of New York's most prestigious hotels, The Waldorf Astoria and Lotte New York Palace, this one-of-a-kind show is reminiscent of the elegant parlor magic performances that characterized Manhattan in the early 20th century.

Written by Steven Cohen, and featuring a foreword from Guillermo Del Toro, "Confronting Magic" is a delightful look at "Chamber Magic" and the wide array of guests this intimate show has attracted and stunned over the last two decades. Within the pages of this stunning hardcover book, you'll find a variety of original photos and memorabilia that beautifully capture the charm and emotions of this beloved show.

Included are shots of Cohen's most noteworthy tricks, including his signature "Think-a-Drink" and jaw-dropping rendition of the classic Bullet Catch. "Confronting Magic" also offers you a one-of-a-kind look at the show through Steve's eyes. By turning the camera toward the audience, you get to step into his shoes and see the audience from his point-of-view—including the bursts of laughter, awed silence and wide-eyed disbelief.

While "Confronting Magic" does not dive into secrets or methods, the more than 100 exclusive illustrations perfectly embody the jubilance felt by every audience and allow the reader to understand why people from around the world continue to return to Cohen's magical parlor time after time.

While music can make you dance and comedy can make you laugh, "Confronting Magic" explores why only magic can make you wonder!

An absolutely gorgeous book. Full of beautiful photos from the show, and anecdotes from Mr Cohen’s experience. While it is extremely self-serving to the performer (in many ways a glorified and very expensive playbill) and may be of limited interest to those who have not seen the show, it is a spectacular keepsake for the many, many of those who have. A beautiful testament to the origins of modern hotel parlor shows.
