Customer reviews for Force Anything Board (FAB Board)

This thing has so many applications and it is rock solid. You really can Force anything. I'd recommend single words like colors, numbers, names-- things like that. Writing anything longer, like, say, a phrase can create some difficulties. You absolutely cannot fail with this thing, it's that reliable. Both sizes are virtual show friendly but for live performance I'd get the larger one. The smaller one can still be used live, although it might be harder for the crowd to see what's written. This is multiphase as well so you really can create a narrative that leads to a killer finish. I mean, you have the capability to really build this up with an ending that absolutely brings the house down. What else is great? The pad can be used as an ordinary clipboard so it can be used for multiple effects beyond what it's designed for. You can perform anything from serial number divination to a drawing duplication to whatever your imagination can conjure up with a clipboard. It comes with several customizable gimmicks and you can even repair damaged or worn out gimmicks yourself so this really should last you a lifetime. I feel a little bad for the manufacturer- It's so ruggedly constructed that you will never need to order a replacement or refills. The tutorial great. The explanations are thorough and the routines presented are really more like demonstrations of the device's capabilities so that you can adapt your own routine. This is a utility device that will serve you well and is worth the cost.

  • Bruce asks: Can I force song titles or does it only allow for single words?

    • 1. Jim answers: Theoretically, yes, but keep in mind that longer titles would have to be written with smaller letters, which may decrease the visibility for larger audiences.

  • Hayden asks: Hi, with this prop, can you show the list beforehand from a distance? I.e. Could you turn the board for a few seconds and show that there is a list of items, and then ask them to name a number between 1-10 etc.

    • 1. Jim answers: In theory, you could. You would have to work out the handling.
    • 2. Kris answers: It's recommended in the demo that you do a quick flash. Just to show that there is a list but keep it brief. Not long enough for a spectator to read. I think not flashing the board creates too much suspicion. The spectator needs assurance that they "Know" that the board contains just an ordinary list. Takes heat off the board itself.
