  • Stephen asks: Is there a particular diameter of rope recommended?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Standard magicians rope should be fine.
  • Curt asks: Hello I'm not sure I understand the difference between "Kissing" & "Coupling". If the ends and the "bullets" will be mostly hidden in the hand, would that be "Kissing"? Sorry, I'm not sure of the difference...

    • 1. David answers: The coupling version is a magnet that is recessed in a steel tube. The “mate” is actually pulled into the tube. Therefore, you can loop or bend the rope. The kissing magnets are surface to surface. Kissing is great for cut and restored effects. Coupling is for “no cut” effects.
    • 2. Jim answers: I've looked, and I can't find the details on this. I believe that the "kissing" version is where the magnets are flush against each other. The "coupling version is where the magnets aren't flush, and can bend back and forth a bit. I hope that helps!
    • 3. David answers: Neal Prete’s Super Rope is recommended. It has the right “core”.
