One of the best card tricks of all time is now bigger and better than ever!

For the first time, you can now own Dan Harlan’s beloved “Card-Toon” effect in a special jumbo version. Considered by countless magicians to be one of the most amazing ways to reveal a freely-named card, this charming effect now plays for audiences of any size. “Jumbo Card-Toon Remastered” is more visible and magical than ever, making it the perfect addition to any parlor or stage magic show.

Here’s what happens:
You introduce a jumbo deck of cards and highlight the quirky stick figure drawings on the back. Each card is slightly different. So, when you flip through the deck, it creates an animation effect of the stick figure magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat.

An audience member is asked to freely name any card. That card is removed from the deck and placed to the side. Once again, you display the back animation. However, this time, your stick figure assistant magically transforms the rabbit into a prediction of their named card. It can truly be any card and the effect is instantly repeatable with a different selection.

How the remastered version differs from the original “Card-Toon”:
Beyond using larger cards, “Jumbo Card-Toon Remastered” by Dan Harlan also features brand-new artwork that offers a smoother animation, which really pops in the jumbo format. Produced with a thinner, springier stock, these cards are also much easier to handle than your traditional jumbo deck of cards.

Since its initial release, “Card-Toon” has captured the hearts of millions of people around the world and was even featured on Penn & Teller: Fool Us. Now, this new larger “Jumbo Card-Toon Remastered” allows corporate entertainers, cruise ship performers, or anyone who performs on a platform or stage, to bring a smile to audiences of all ages with this modern classic.

  • Joe asks: I hope this is an appropriate question given the first rule above: Is the method the same as the one used in the original, smaller version?

    • 1. Martin answers: Don't think so It says on ad "This is a brand-new method for Dan's much-loved creation."
    • 2. Joe answers: Thanks, Martin. I missed that line.

  • Gary asks: Great concern re how flexible the cards are. I would think they will need to be as flexible as a double decker (phoenix) Has anyone handled this deck?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: I believe the deck handles really well and the flexibility has been thought out due to the size of the deck
  • Michael asks: Is the handling suitable for smaller hands? My 12 year old son loves this trick and is debating getting the picker size or the jumbo.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: This version is meant for the stage but the poker sized version is perfect for smaller hands and close up performances.
  • Ken asks: I haven't bought the regular size Card-Toon deck. But, I have been thinking about it. Now I see this jumbo deck, which overcomes some of the apprehension I've had about buying the poker size deck. Then again, it's $40 and I've never worked with a jumbo deck before. Since I'm not familiar with the poker size deck, I'm concerned that there may be a sleight required that I will have trouble with the jumbo cards.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Please email us at wizards@vanishingincmagic.com and we can discuss this with you
