A poetic mystery, an illusionette that can be carried with one hand, a display of pure elegance and beauty...
The magician introduces a puzzle that fits perfectly into a beautiful frame displayed upright on an elegant stand. A spectator is invited to examine both the puzzle pieces and the frame. The frame is then removed and hung on the corner as the magician produces an extra piece and places it aside.
The original puzzle pieces are mixed and re-arranged in full view. And, although the rectangular shape is the same, one piece is missing. Impossibly, this extra piece from earlier fits perfectly.
Next, the magician produces and even bigger piece. The puzzle is re-arranged again. Once again there is a hole in the puzzle and this bigger piece fits perfectly.
This would be an incredible effect on its own. But, here is where things get truly interesting. Despite the fact that multiple larger pieces were added, the frame, which has been in full view throughout the entire routine, still fits perfectly around the puzzle—leaving the audience will an unexplainable mystery and unforgettable memory.
