Sponge Tennis Balls - magic
Sponge Tennis Balls Sponge Tennis Balls

A sponge ball routine that can play for any size audience from close up magic to stage and parlor magic.

There is a reason the late, great Eugene Burger performed the sponge balls his entire career. A good sponge ball routine can devastate any audience.

Mr. Daba has expanded on the idea of Sponge Balls to create "Sponge Tennis Balls" that pack flat and play huge. These one-of-a-kind props are perfect for any audience. You'll learn a killer routine filled with tons of new comedy moments mixed in with the powerful magic.

Comes with four sponge tennis balls and video instructions.

It took some practice but this is now a hit with my kids magic show. You learn quickly what aspects of the routine need to be adjusted for children but I enjoy performing it and it gets wonderful reactions. If you want to level up your sponge ball routine for a bigger audience, this works.

  • Pete asks: The sponge ball are similar with tennis sponge ball by Alan Wong? Which one are softer? Both same size?

    • 1. David answers: The Mr. Daba tennis-round-thingies are softer and compress better (and expand faster) than the Alan Wong's . I did read a blog post by professional magician Louie Foxx that he had problems with the Mr. Daba tennis-round-thingies , with the tape lines on the surface of the tennis-round-thingies coming loose and falling off after only a week's use. (2 - 3 shows per day) Louie's solution was to paint the lines on using fabric paint. I don't know if Louie's experience is typical or if he just got a bad batch, but Mr. Daba may have a quality control issue with his tennis-round-thingies (?). https://tinyurl.com/MrDabasTennisroundthingies (Sorry I had to spell "tennis-round-thingies" like that , but Vanishing Inc.'s censor-ware kept flagging my post as having "profane or vulgar language" because I wrote b - - ls. I wonder how anyone can ever review or answer questions about a certain infamous Magic-by-Gosh item that rhymes with ping-pong ? )
