The End is a magic effect that is ideal to for closing a close-up, parlor or stage magic show.
The idea is that after you perform the last trick in your routine, you stop for a moment to say that there is something you want to say but that you are going to say it in a magical way... at that moment you take a handkerchief out of your pocket and as you unfold it, on the face of the handkerchief is written "THIS IS...," and as you blow on the handkerchief, visually and magically, the letters change and now The End appears written on the face of the handkerchief, announcing the end of the show!
