A silk-to-8-ball effect that offers an exciting new take on the classic silk-to-egg.
John Morton's "Transform8" is a super entertaining and fun routine for stage and parlor magic, as well as close up magic shows.
You start by transforming a napkin into an 8 ball billiard ball. They are amazed until you reveal the secret, there is a hole in the back of the 8 ball that makes the magic happen.
Right when they think they have you figured out though, you hit them with a surprise ending they'll never see coming. The hollow 8 ball transforms into a real, solid pool ball.
This a great new take on the iconic silk-to-egg effect without any of the mess. It's super easy to do and resets easily, making it more practical for walkaround magic gigs.
What you receive:
Nice idea. The handling is nice. But to perform it exactly as shown, you need another gimmick that they failed to mention in the ad copy and video. However, if you use one of the handlings out there for the silk to egg, you won't need the gimmick. And for the price, I expected the hollow 8 ball to be better made.
The hollow 8 ball came with the sticker (yes the "8" is just a sticker) off center, and the ball itself is rubbish. The best thing about this product is that it comes with a pack of travel sized tissues. You can use the to wipe away the tears shed for wasting money on this cheaply made garbage.
