This is the sort of parlor routine that can be personalized and enhanced in ways that engage the audience in hilarious, personal ways. In short: three volunteers each make a selection. So, from the audience's perspective, someone is thinking of an animal, someone else is thinking of a famous person, and someone else is thinking of a fruit. You are able to predict all three in a zany, visual way. You can show, for example, a picture of Albert Einstein riding on a giraffe, eating a banana!
Matthew Wright has personalized the routine to be about his daughter's homework. In the end, her wacky artwork predicts everything chosen by the spectators, and the image is as ridiculous as it is memorable. But you can also theme your own story around shopping, travel, history, or food.
What you get with "Trio" is a framework to make a highly entertaining platform or stage piece that you can bring anywhere and do anytime. Of course, you also receive all of the props you need to perform the effect, so you can start practicing right away.
Includes: Large, full color prediction cards, cloth bag (plus gimmick), custom made heavy duty envelope, and detailed video instructions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the outcome always the same?
No. What makes Trio so great is that the audience determine how the trick ends. But no matter which celebrity, fruit or animal they choose, the prediction (inside the envelope) will always be a perfect match.
Can the prediction be examined?
Yes. You are supplied with durable PVC prediction cards. The prediction is printed onto the plastic. You also have the option to make your own prediction cards and give them away after each performance.
How "free" are the choices?
We suggest that you watch the full performance above to see what the selection process looks like. What makes Trio so clever is the combination of methods. The mix of forces, plus genuine free choices make it incredibly deceptive.
Can I customize Trio?
Absolutely! You can very easily print your own prediction cards. But for those of you that don't want to, you can just use the supplied prediction cards.
We would like to thank and credit Dave Johnson (Nine Digit Dave) for his clever outs concept used within the envelopes.
