A topit is a utility device magicians use to ditch fairly small items such as decks of cards, coins etc. Patrick Page originated the idea when his method was released by Davenports. It was made popular by Ammar in the 80s. And is now used by close up and stage magicians all over the world.
Based on the idea of a Poachers’ Pouch, which was used by pickpockets, the Topit is now really used as an invisible third hand. A jacket or hoody needs to be worn to use this device.
